Creating and using benchmark programs

Benchmark programs are a unique workout program type that, when enrolled and tracked to generate exercise data, allow for our reports feature to filter down to only the exercise history tracked from those  workout programs.

This feature was inspired by customers who perform the same workout with their clients over time to track their progress. For example, a training team may have a standard benchmark workout program (also referred to by customers in interviews as an assessment workout or test workout ) that they'll have their client perform once a month. The data they are typically looking to collect is the highest weight recorded for that exercise for that client, ideally allowing them to create a chart that shows an increase in strength over time.

How to create a benchmark program

  • The ability to create a benchmark program is limited to the SuperAdmin role within your company account.
  • If you are the SuperAdmin, login to the web app, and then navigate to the Program Management page.
  • Click Create Program.
  • Click the Benchmark program toggle.
  • Add in all program creation requirements: Program title, workout sessions.
    • Note - Benchmark programs are limited to just one session to allow for consistent exercise data collection.
  • Once created, the Superadmin will be able to view and manage the benchmark program in the Program Management - Benchmark Program list.

How to enroll

  • Once a benchmark program is created any trainer will be able to view and enroll the program to their clients.
  • Within the web app, navigate to the Client Management page.
  • Click on a client profile.
  • Click Enroll Program.
  • Click the program type list dropdown and click Benchmark Program.
  • Select the program and enroll.
  • Track the workout as normal with your client to build up an exercise history.
